Honda to Develop New Minicar for India

“We plan to enter the small car market with a vehicle that will be manufactured at our new unit coming up in Rajasthan in two years time,” Honda Siel Cars India’s President and CEO, Masahiro Takedagawa told reporters earlier this week.

First Drive: 2009 Honda Pilot

While the Pilot won’t be challenging the Buick Enclave or Mazda CX-9 for style points, it isn’t too painful on the eyes. It’s more a case of being almost invisible. The greenhouse is actually strongly reminiscent of the first generation Jeep Liberty, only longer. In spite of the rather barn like shape, it’s actually more aerodynamic than the original Pilot, resulting in substantially less wind noise. In fact, the Pilot has a whole range of improvements that reduce noise, which we’ll explore a bit later. There are also some things that might be considered a step backwards. Michael Schumacher to race a Honda CBR1000RR in German Superbike

Seven-time Formula 1 racing champion Michael Schumacher may be on a Honda CBR1000RR at the IDM International German Motorbike Championship. There are perception too he’ll be racing short of a false name, Marcel Niederhausen. Now the present the cat is legally out of the bag, so to speak, he may as well skip the alias. Schumacher might race alongside current champion Martin Bauer for Holzhauer Racing.
