If you want to buy a new camcorder this Christmas, then you can consider to buy Samsung’s first HD camcorder. This lightweight camcorder provides 4GB built in memory, a SDHC card slot, a 2.7 inch LCD, and a 10X zoom lens. The video recorder is able to record H.264 video in 720P resolution. The Samsung VP-HMX10A is priced at $850 in Korea.

Black Casio Exilim EX-V8 Digicam

Casio has released a black version of the Exilim EX-V8 digital camera in Japan. This 8.1MP digicam features 11.8MB of internal memory, SD and SDHC support, ISO 1600, and Video recording in H.264, 30fps (a variant of Mpeg4). No word on pricing so far.
