In case you just shelled out something like $8000 for one of those high-end fashion phones, you really don’t wanna read on. Apparently, a US-based company called Hop-on is offering you the convenience of being able to use the phone for its primary purpose- making and receiving calls- for only 10 American dollars. Of course the phone doesn’t have all the gadget wizardry your iPhone has, hell, it doesn’t even have a display, but its got the good old 12-button keypad with Braille markings and it gives you the comfort to choose a pre-paid GSM connection from over 40 carriers in the US alone apart from the option of sticking with the company’s own Graffiti Wireless service. The HOP1800 also features a 10 Midi ringer, embedded vibration and over four hours of talk time, just in case you were wondering if they weren’t selling you candy wrapped in a cellphone cover, and at $10 a pop, the cheap as dirt phone aims at becoming the world’s first true disposable phone. Rock on Anti-iPhone!
